Omega School is an AI teaching assistant for homeschool families. It maps what each child actually knows, builds the daily plan from that map, tutors beside the child without ever handing over an answer, and turns the finished work into records your state accepts.
We built it because the hard part of homeschooling is not the teaching. It is the planning, the tracking, the grading, and the paperwork — the hours of administration stacked on top of the actual work with your child.
Solving a problem and learning from it are not the same thing. A tutor that hands over answers produces correct outputs and no learning. Ours refuses.

We imagine a world where the family who homeschools in a small apartment in Memphis has access to the same quality of guidance as the family in a private school with a twenty-year head start. Geography and budget should not determine the quality of a child’s education.
How we began
Built out of frustration with grade-level guesswork
Omega started with frustration: curriculum kits designed for someone else’s child, and software that measured what was easy to measure and called it progress. Nothing knew what a specific child had actually mastered, so everything defaulted to a grade-level guess.
So we built the missing map. A placement quiz walks the prerequisite graph of 1,590 curriculum topics and finds each child’s real frontier — usually in about eight questions per subject. Every daily plan is generated from that map. Every lesson feeds evidence back into it. Review is scheduled by memory research, not by workbook page.
The result is Omega: an AI assistant that plans, tutors, tracks mastery, and files the paperwork — while the parent stays the teacher.

Placement before instruction
Omega never assumes a grade level. The placement quiz maps what a child already knows against 1,590 topics and their prerequisites, and every plan starts from that evidence.
Hints, never answers
The lesson tutor teaches with questions, worked examples, and a hint ladder. It will not state the final answer — by text, by voice, or on the sketchpad. The thinking stays with the child.
Mastery proven, then kept
A topic counts as mastered only after a passing mastery check — never from time spent. Spaced review brings each topic back right before memory research says it would fade.
Your methodology leads
Eight approaches supported — Classical, Montessori, Charlotte Mason, Traditional, and more. Plans are generated around your curriculum and your method, not a replacement for them.
The parent at the center
Most education tools are built for the child and sold to the parent. Omega is built for the parent — because in a homeschool, the parent is the teacher, the administrator, and the registrar all at once.
So Omega handles the administration. Daily plans arrive built from each child’s mastery map. Wrong quiz answers come back tagged with the specific misconception behind them, and what to do about it. When a child needs your attention, Omega names which child and what for.
And the record-keeping is automatic: attendance, portfolios, and Common Core standards mapping, exportable as PDF from work the child already did.
The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, “The children are now working as if I did not exist.”
